Zelda Breath Of The Wild is probably already the game of the year 2017. The soundtrack, however, must be able to compete with the other Zelda games, so the lead composer Manaka Kataoka and Yasuaki Iwata had a difficult task when they devoted themselves to this project. Hateno Village is a music you would expect when you enter a peaceful village in a role-playing game: easy and relaxing. The harmonic scope is, however, more complex than you would expect and so you find some interesting chords in this piece, especially in the middle section, when the second theme begins.
